Seniors without smartphones can now use Lyft, too
Tech-savvy smartphone users aren’t the only ones who could use rides on demand. Senior citizens want them, too.
Lyft has launched a new third-party ride-request service called Concierge catered to seniors seeking rides to doctor’s appointments.
The pilot program, a collaboration with New York City’s National Medtrans Network, was announced by the ride sharing app in a blog post Tuesday. Health care providers can request rides for patients online by inputing just a name, pick-up location and drop-off location—no smartphone required.
