Donald Trump will never eat his words but perhaps he should delete his tweets

While Trump predicted a historic victory in Iowa caucuses, just three hours after the caucuses began, the major networks declared Ted Cruz the winner. Cruz is currently ahead of Trump 27.6% to 24.3%. That leaves Trump in second place, making him — using one of his very favorite epithets — a loser.

Just one year ago, Trump had this to say about second-place:

.

Trump is still predicted to do well in New Hampshire. But his loss here was noticed by everyone — except, perhaps, by the candidate himself, who added a new note to his usual “winner” refrain Read more…

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Donald Trump’s whole campaign has been based on winning. But after a major setback in Iowa, he’s now going to have to cope with being seen as a loser — at least for now.

Trump’s disappointing second-place finish in the key early-voting state on Monday night, barely ahead of Marco Rubio, comes after recent polls showed him ahead of Ted Cruz. He’s now facing huge pressure to hold onto his lead in New Hampshire, where recent polls have him with three times the support of any of his competitors.

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Ted Cruz has won Iowa’s GOP caucuses, giving the hardline conservative senator a huge boost in his quest for the Republican nomination and making a loser of Donald Trump.

The Associated Press has called the state for Cruz who led Trump 27.7% – 24.4% with 84% of precincts reporting. Marco Rubio was in third place with 23%.

“Tonight is a victory for the grassroots,” Cruz declared, portraying himself as the second coming of Ronald Reagan. “Whatever Washington says, they cannot keep the people down.” Read more…

At the Iowa caucuses, everyone is clamoring for attention — and one woman stole it all.

During a live MSNBC broadcast of the event, a concerned voter made it to live TV and began to air her concerns. She got a little heated, as people do, and decided to drop everyone’s favorite expletive.

“The fact that I haven’t gotten benefits in three months because the VA is so f*cked really makes me concerned,” the voter said.

It’s hard to tell what’s better — when she says f*ck, or when someone follows it up with a very audible “oooh.”

Technically, the FCC only prohibits obscenities on major broadcast networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox. MSNBC, as a cable news station, would not be subject to these regulations and subsequent heavy fines Read more…
