Britain is ‘failing’ transgender people, landmark report says

LONDON — The British government has a long way to go to ensure equality for transgender people, says a landmark report published Thursday by the House of Commons Women and Equalities Committee.
The report — the government’s first on transgender equality — makes over 30 recommendations in a range of policy areas and calls on the government to take urgent action to ensure full equality for transgender and non-binary people
