With the end nigh, The Good Wife returns to where it all began: the 27th floor of Lockhart & Gardner

Yes, as the last episode hinted, Alicia returns to Lockhart Agos & Lee as a junior partner and brings Lucca along with her. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough room on the 28th floor for Alicia, so she is back on the 27th, where she began the series

Report: The CW looking to launch a stand-alone streaming service

LOS ANGELES — Another day, another (potential) streaming service.

According to a Bloomberg report published on Monday, The CW — a joint venture between Warner Bros. and CBS Corp. — has plans to launch its own streaming service

The news of the potential stand alone service comes as The CW’s deals with Hulu, Netflix and Tribune Media Co. are almost up.

The network already gives fans access to a handful of shows and originals on CW Seed, a digital entertainment offshoot The CW launched three years ago. CBS also has CBS All Access and Time Warner has HBO Now. Read more…
