A Chinese man was on his way to a parade when he took some snow and used to it to make his vehicle into a real boy.

According to a caption on the video, the man wanted to bring the snow to the parade because “it is rare to snow in this part of China.”

While we appreciate a good learning experience, we can’t say we understand why it had to come in the form of a giant phall-ice.

As the first director of the National Weather Service in many years to have a PhD in meteorology, when he says a storm is potentially historic, and “classic” in terms of its formation and impacts, one would be best to take heed.

During a press conference on Thursday from the National Weather Service’s forecasting hub in College Park, Maryland, Uccellini said the blizzard expected to begin in Washington, D.C., on Friday afternoon, and spreading northeastward from there, will be a “potentially paralyzing storm” that could be life-threatening. He said computer models are showing the potential for thundersnow in Washington and Philadelphia on Friday night, which would enhance snowfall rates. Read more…

A major, potentially life-threatening winter storm could bring feet of snow to millions of people living along the east coast of the United States starting Friday.

Forecasters have issued a blizzard warning for Washington, D.C., and blizzard watches for New York City, Philadelphia and other cities along a swath of the coast. It’s also possible that the storm could cause coastal flooding and bring power outages to some areas along its path, possibly leaving people without power for hours or days
